Alvin Firman Sunanda earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from The Philippines Christian University in Manila. His academic background and professional experience have supported a career across finance, administration, and corporate governance in various industries.
He was first appointed as Independent Director of the Company under Deed Number 47 dated 31 October 2016. His role transitioned to Director under Deed Number 34 dated 15 May 2019, and he was reappointed based on Deed Number 51 dated 17 June 2021. As the Company’s Chief Administrative Officer, Alvin oversees corporate communication, administrative oversight, policy implementation, and organizational processes across the Group, ensuring alignment between governance standards and operational execution.
He also serves as Director of PT Trisensa Mineral Utama and PT Bayu Alam Sejahtera (both since 2020), Commissioner of PT Toba Bumi Energi (since 2021), Commissioner of PT Indomining (since 2022), and Commissioner of PT Biomassa Alam Energi. These positions reflect his role in enhancing governance, compliance, and internal controls within key subsidiaries.
Alvin’s earlier career includes Assistant Manager Corporate Finance at PT Daiwa Indonesia Securities (1994–1995), Strategic Planning Manager at PT Pepsi Cola Indobeverages (1996–1998), Corporate Finance Manager and Corporate Secretary at PT British American Tobacco Tbk (1999–2000), Finance Director at PT Khasanah Timur Indonesia (2000–2005), Director at PT Bramadi Capital Asia (2005–2007), and Finance Director at PT Interex Sacra Raya/PT Tunas Muda Jaya (2008–2010). These roles strengthened his expertise in financial operations, business planning, and cross-functional coordination.
He has no affiliation with the Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, or the major and controlling shareholders.
