Driving Regional Leadership in Southeast Asia

By integrating waste management capabilities in both Indonesia and Singapore, TBS is expanding its role as a regional leader in integrated waste management services.

In 2023, TBS laid the foundation with the acquisition of Asia Medical Enviro Services (AMES) and ARAH, a leader in managing medical, hazardous, domestic, and electronic waste. These moves consolidated under PT Solusi Bersih TBS (SBT), a dedicated sub-holding for waste management.

In March 2025, TBS strengthened its regional presence by completing the full acquisition of Sembcorp Environment (SembEnviro), a leading Singapore-based company with strong expertise in municipal solid waste, recycling, and environmental solutions. This integration marked a significant leap in scale, technology, and market reach.

Further cementing this position, SembEnviro was rebranded as CORA Environment in September 2025. This new identity unites TBS’s waste management businesses under a single, future-ready brand, reinforcing its ambition to lead Southeast Asia in integrated waste-to-resource solutions.

With AMES, ARAH, and CORA under one platform, TBS is delivering on its TBS2030 roadmap – realizing our sustainability goals, minimizing environmental impact, and creating lasting value for the region.
