Dr. Ahmad Fuad Rahmany is a senior economist with extensive experience in fiscal affairs, financial markets, and public policy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia (1981), a Master of Arts in Economics from Duke University, USA (1987), and a Doctorate from Vanderbilt University (1997).
Fuad currently serves as an Independent Commissioner and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company since August 2020. He also holds positions as President Commissioner of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia, and Commissioner of PT Tambang Damai and PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia.
Throughout his career, Fuad has held various key positions, including Director General of Taxation at the Ministry of Finance (2011–2014), Chairman of Bapepam-LK (2006–2011), and Ex-Officio Commissioner at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation. He has also served as Commissioner in several state-owned enterprises and strategic entities, including PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium, and PT Danareksa.
With a longstanding role in fiscal policy and financial oversight, Fuad is recognized as an influential figure in promoting accountability and strong governance across institutions.
He has no affiliation with other members of the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, or the major shareholders, highlighting his independence.
