Frances Kang holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, United States (2012), and previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from National Taiwan University, Taipei (2006).
Frances has over a decade of experience in venture capital, with a strong focus on the global technology sector, particularly in fin-tech, digital health, enterprise software, and sustainability. Since 2012, she has been a core member of the investment team at Horizons Ventures, a global venture capital firm, where she is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in innovative technology companies across North America, Europe, and Asia.
With cross-border investment experience and active involvement in the startup ecosystem and corporate boards across regions, Frances brings a global perspective to all of her roles. She is also a co-founder of WeLab, a leading digital financial services provider in Asia, and currently serves as an Independent Director at the Epoch Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes economic growth and innovation in Asia through technology and startup development.
Frances has no affiliation with the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, or the Major and Controlling Shareholders of the Company, ensuring her independence and objectivity in performing her duties.
