Bacelius Ruru is a distinguished senior figure with over four decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, particularly in law, finance, and corporate governance. He earned his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia in 1975 and obtained a Master of Law (LL.M) in International Law from Harvard Law School, USA, in 1987.
He currently serves as the President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of the Company since 2019, as well as the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee since December 2022. In addition, he also holds positions as President Director of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk and Independent President Commissioner of PT Polychem Indonesia.
His extensive career includes key positions such as President Commissioner of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT Indonesia Stock Exchange, and PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset. He also served as Secretary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and has vast experience in capital market oversight and SOE management, including roles as Chairman of Bapepam and Director General at the Ministry of Finance.
With a strong reputation in governance and public policy reform, his presence reinforces the company's supervisory structure and commitment to transparency.
